Established in 1972, the Nephrology division of the Southside Urology & Nephrology deals with the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, electrolyte imbalances, hypertension, and many other disease/disorders that may affect or be affected by kidney disease. We also provide care for those individuals requiring renal replacement therapy, including dialysis and renal transplant.
In addition to office and hospital care, our providers manage the dialysis treatment of patients at 6 freestanding dialysis units and 3 hospital-based units. We provide vascular access care to our outpatient dialysis patients and care for kidney related conditions such as:

- Dialysis - Inpatient/Outpatient
- Diabetes Mellitus Evaluation and Management
